Preview first, pay once: how an Ermaz website is made

One paragraph in, a working website out, usually within the hour. What happens in between, what the factory checks, and what you pay when it is right.

Most website projects start with a meeting and end with an invoice. Ermaz starts with a paragraph and ends with a site you can click through before anyone asks you for money. Here is what happens in between.

One paragraph is the whole brief

You describe the business in plain words: what it does, who it is for, and what a visitor should be able to do on the site. A bakery that sells out by ten, a joinery that fits what it makes, a plumbing firm with three engineers and a seven-day emergency line. No forms to fill, no feature list to tick. If the factory needs something else, it asks.

The factory plans before it builds

From the brief it draws up a production plan: the pages the business needs, the one thing each page is for, and the next action a visitor takes on it. It tries several design directions and picks one, then writes the copy in the business's own voice. It researches photography that fits, with the photographer credited.

It will not invent facts about you

This is the rule the factory holds hardest. It may invent the design and the wording; it may not invent the business reality. Prices, opening hours, a phone number, a certificate number, a founding year: if the brief did not say, the site does not claim. Instead, the build ends with a short list headed "to confirm with the owner", and the site waits for real answers rather than carrying placeholders.

What gets checked before you see it

  • A fact check against the brief, so nothing on the page outruns what you said.
  • A design review by a separate critic that did not write the site, with a repair pass for anything it finds.
  • An accessibility audit of the live pages: contrast, labels, keyboard focus.
  • The plumbing every site needs: a privacy notice, a sitemap, social cards, a contact form that works.

The preview is real

The site goes live at its own address with a small preview banner and stays up for seven days. Open it on your phone, send the link to a colleague, fill in the form and watch the enquiry arrive in your inbox. Nothing is charged for this. Two previews come with every account.

Pay once, when it is right

Launching the site is a single payment of $149. The banner comes off, the site is permanent, hosting and HTTPS are included, your own domain can be connected, and the source files are yours to download. Website Care, at $39 a month, is optional: a weekly maintenance visit, a weekly article, and an automated first reply to every enquiry. Cancelling it never takes the site down.
